The Waveshare IR Thermal Imaging Camera Module w/ USB-C (45deg FOV) is an advanced thermal imaging solution that utilizes a combination of microbolometer and thermopile technologies to capture the infrared distribution of objects within its field of view. This device is capable of converting IR data into the surface temperature of objects and generating thermal images, facilitating its integration into a variety of industrial or intelligent control applications.

This module is available in four distinct versions, each designed to meet different application needs. Customers can choose between a HAT version with a Raspberry Pi 40-Pin GPIO header and a USB version with a Type-C port. Additionally, there are basic and wide-angle versions offering 45° and 90° field of view options, respectively.
